Fly-Out to Harris Ranch (3O8)
October 28 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Join 3 others!
All are welcome to join a hungry group of pilots headed to Harris Ranch Airport (3O8) for their famous steaks and challenging runway. With a width of only 30 feet and length of 2820 feet, this airport encourages a pilot to pay attention to performance planning and landing on centerline! We will be departing around 5 pm from each location to arrive for our 6:30 pm reservation time. Please register for this event so we know how many people to seat.
Most of us plan to fly home after dinner. With winter approaching, this will be a great time to get night current. For students, this can count as both day and night cross-country flights. Remember: if you are not night current, you cannot take passengers until you complete 3 takeoffs and landings to a full stop at least 1 hour after sunset. Harris Ranch Airport does have pilot-controlled lighting activated on CTAF. If you prefer to stay the night, a hotel is located near the restaurant.
Fly your plane or fly ours. If you have seats available or need a seat, please coordinate via email with the office and we will do our best to coordinate.
