WINGS Seminar – Flying the Bay Tour
April 15 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pmFree
Flying the Bay Tour
Navigating Class B Airspace
Once you’ve earned that pilot license, what can be more exciting than taking friends or family on an aerial tour of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, soaring over downtown San Francisco with it’s colorful buildings, or sweeping around Alcatraz for a view overhead? This can also be daunting to a pilot who has never ventured into Class B airspace.
Join Instructor Jason Brown as he goes over the requirements to fly into Bravo Airspace, how to communicate with the controllers, a review of the common VFR waypoints and instructions, and most importantly how to safely and legally operate around the San Francisco Bay. He will also discuss proposed changes to the airspace and how it will affect the Bay Tour if implemented.
Featured speaker will be CFI and Assistant Chief Instructor for AeroDynamic Aviation, Jason Brown.
WINGS seminars count towards your Flight Review. This seminar counts as 1 Credit for Basic Knowledge.
Online registration through FAASafety.com will be available soon.
