He’s drinking the Kool-Aid! Former Cirrus-pilot-turned-Bonanza-owner and Commercial pilot Ryan Radcliff recently came to Monterey while his Bonanza BE36TC is in the shop for paint and annual. Ryan reacquainted himself with the SR20 and transitioned to the new Garmin Perspective. His plans include a flight to Catalina and maybe a few hops over to his condo in Mammoth. Have fun!
We’ve turned one of our Instrument instructors into a tailwheel pilot. The tailwheel fever is contagious at AeroDynamic Aviation!
Next stop – Acrobatics!
Job well done Eric!
Thank you to CFI Andrew Marvin for all of your hard work instructing CFI Eric Curtis!
Congrats to Robert Hilton who recently earned his tailwheel endorsement!
He’s having a lot of fun making holes in the sky with N990Wy!
We recently had the pleasure of hosting a Parisian Pilot with a thirst for taildraggers. Olivier Barloy visited from Paris to try out the art of taildragging.
He flew every member of our Champion family with several of our instructors. Citabrias with Grainne, Kendall, Mark and Jim, the Decathlon for some spins, loops and rolls with Jim, and at the end the classic 1946 Aeronca Champ with Zdravko.
A perfect final flight for a week of taildragger adventures. Olivier more than earned his tailwheel endorsement!
Congratulations to Dave Presta who earned his complex endorsement with CFI Rene Garcia in N616SF.
We have a new taildragger pilot!
Congratulations to Jenny Koenig who earned her tailwheel endorsement in Citabria 53893 with Zdravko in the back. Despite gusty winds and crosswinds, on the last flight Jenny did some excellent wheel landings.
Well done Jenny!
On a very windy Saturday afternoon, Ben Ellsworth got a chance to prove he really can tame the taildragger and earned his tailwheel endorsement from Zdravko
Ben is an experienced CFI, teaching at AeroDynamic Aviation Salinas, but he never had a chance to get his tailwheeling badge till now.
Congratulations Ben, next comes the back seat checkout!
Congratulations to Eddie Seymour for earning his tailwheel endorsement while flying Citabria N53893 with AeroDynamic Aviation CFI Rich Digrazzi.
The very first endorsement of the New Year happened in Salinas on New Year’s Day. Mona Kendrick earned her Complex Airplane sign off in our Cessna 172RG, N616SF, from Instructor Tom Conklin.
Mona’s next goal is to get her Commercial Pilot License.
Well done Mona and a Hapy New Year to you!
Congratulations to Bruce La Fountain who earned his tailwheel endorsement, and also the distinction of the last AeroDynamic endorsement in 2011, with CFI Rich Digrazzi.
Well done Bruce and Happy Taildragging in the New Year!
